<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input device that reduces malfunction of an information processing apparatus resulting from an input error. <P>SOLUTION: The coordinate input device comprises vibration sensors 18 and 19 for detecting an operating vibration caused in a touch panel 12 upon a touch input operation, and a vibration waveform identification part 15 for identifying whether or not the touch input operation is a normal operation by the operating vibration detected by the vibration sensors 18 and 19. The vibration waveform identification part 15 determines whether or not the touch input operation is normal by comparing the waveform pattern of the detected operating vibration with reference waveform patterns of operating vibrations caused upon normal operations which are stored in a waveform pattern storage part 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
