PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating device which carries out induction heating to a heating object, in which an accidental disconnection due to a connection and disconnection stress of a regular current of a first fuse is eliminated and damages of a circuit inner than a trigger terminal of a switching element is reduced even at the time of a short circuit failure of the switching element. SOLUTION: An AC current is supplied to a coil 4 to excite an induction current to a heating object by an inverter 3, a first fuse 2 is inserted in series to a power supply input terminal of the inverter 3, and a second fuse 6 of which the blow-out characteristics are more easily melting than a bonding wire of a trigger terminal 502 of a switching element 5 is connected in series to the trigger terminal 502 of the switching element 5 in the inverter 3. A drive signal is outputted from a trigger means 7 to the switching element 5 through this second fuse 6, and while monitoring a resonance waveform of the inverter 3, the drive signal to the switching element 5 is outputted timely to the trigger means 7 from a timing pulse generating means 8.
