PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information terminal and an ultraviolet alarm program which allow a user to obtain an ultraviolet dose exposed from a present time on the basis of an ultraviolet intensity measured by an ultraviolet intensity measuring means loaded at the portable information terminal and display an alarm regarding a provision with information on ultraviolet exposure. SOLUTION: The portable information terminal is configured so as to have the ultraviolet intensity measuring means measuring the ultraviolet intensity, a location information acquiring means acquiring a current location, a meteorological information acquiring means acquiring a sunset time at the current location and time-series meteorological information by Internet connection, and a user information acquiring means acquiring a stay time as user information from the portable information terminal user. The portable information terminal is further configured so as to have an ultraviolet dose index computing means obtaining an ultraviolet dose index on the basis of specified computing formula from the measured ultraviolet intensity, time-series meteorological information and user information and a caution information display means displaying caution information corresponding to the obtained ultraviolet dose index.
