<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device equipped with a toner storage part for storing supplied toner and a toner supply part for performing development, which is free from deterioration of image quality caused by degradation of toner even when printing is performed over a long term on a low-density printing condition. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device used in the image forming apparatus of a rotary developing system comprises two chambers, that is, the toner storage chamber to which the toner is supplied and which is equipped with a toner stirring member inside, and the toner supply chamber which is equipped with a supply roller and a developing roller. The two chambers are partitioned by a partition wall having an aperture part, and the aperture part is provided on the upper side than the shaft center of the supply roller. One end of an eaves-like member is fixed on the toner supply chamber side of the partition wall and on the lower side of the aperture part, and the other end thereof is provided to be movable as a free end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
