PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the workload of an official document manager. SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: an image input means; an image registration means; a feature extraction means for extracting a feature of image data; a retaining means for holding the feature of the image data in addition to the image data when the image data is registered by the image registration means; a duplication warning means for comparing the feature of the image data obtained by the feature extraction means with the feature of the image data that the retaining means retains when the image data is registered by the image registration means, and issuing a warning that there is a duplicate registration when there is a similar image; and a registration failure warning means for comparing the feature of the image data obtained by the feature extraction means with the feature of the image data that the retaining means retains when the image data is deleted without being registered, and issuing a warning that there is a registration failure when there is a similar image.
