PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the axial strength of a column part and also increase the coupling force between box units. SOLUTION: This box unit is formed in a box shape by using a plurality of square tubular shape and wall parts 3 installed between the adjacent column parts 1. An end surface plate 6 is attached to at least one of the upper and lower parts of each of the column parts 1. A screw member insertion hole 6a allowing a screw member 12 for connection to another unit U adjacent to at least one of the upper and lower parts of the column part 1 to be inserted therethrough is formed in the end surface plate 6. A window part W freely usable when the screw member 12 is screwed is formed in one of the peripheral surfaces of the column part 1 exposed to the outside of the unit.
