PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a strut and a floor post footing capable of preventing rainwater or the like from infiltrating into a support surface of the strut to contribute to extension of a service life of the strut, easily constructed and taking cost into consideration. SOLUTION: This connecting implement is adapted to stick a hard rubber plate 3 with a dripping groove 5 to the lower face of the strut 1 and to stick a projecting bar 6 projected to the opposite side of the hard rubber plate 3, into a hole 7 bored at the upper face center of the floor post footing 2 to support and fix the strut and the floor post footing.
