PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for a film capable of taking out a film with good operability together with a lid-opening operation of a container body. SOLUTION: The container for the film includes a container body 3 having a storing part 2, a lid 4 for opening/closing the container body, a hook 6 which is attachably/detachably engaged with an engagement part 5 provided on a front end part 3b of the container body to keep the closed condition of the lid, a pushing-up member 8 which is unevenly provided on a bottom surface 2a of the storing part 2 from the front end to the rear end 3a of the container body while a plurality of vertically superposed films 7 are loaded thereon, pressed, and erected to push up these films, and to push up the lid to detach the hook from the engagement part, an affixing part 9 which is provided on the lid facing the film materials with the film materials being affixed thereto, and a pressing part 10 which is provided on the rear end of the container body facing the push-up member in an elastically deformable manner, and elastically deformed to press the push-up member.
