<p>The method involves qualitatively determining size of a defined area and executing different fixed drive prototypes for setting a floor cleaning device i.e. dust collecting robot, in the defined areas of different sizes. Scanning signals are delivered by the cleaning device at a respective area and/or walls or limiting devices surrounding the defined area. The scanning signals are reflected by the walls and/or the limiting devices, and are received, where the determination of the size of the defined area is performed after receiving the signals. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing a method for setting a drive prototype of a floor cleaning device.</p> |
