<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for setting an electronic clock for determining the time within the limited period of use at the correct time and for correctly determining possibility and impossibility of reproduction of content using the correct time on the occasion when a broadcast receiver downloads content having the time limit of use from the communication line and accumulates such content, and a user reproduces the accumulated content. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic clock within the broadcast receiver is set not allowing setting by the user and the electronic clock is set to the non-setting state when the receiver is driven. When the time data is obtained by acquiring such time data from the broadcast signal and from the communication line, the electronic clock is set using such time data obtained. After setting of the electronic clock, the clock is determined to be set to the correct time for determination of the time limit of use for the content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
