<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print a mark showing that a character is not printed. <P>SOLUTION: The printer is provided with: a printing data sink 12 for receiving data; and a printing mechanism 16 which prints the character on a continuous paper by using a character pattern corresponding to the received data and the mark on the fold of the continuous paper, when a controller 50 determines that the character pattern corresponding to the received data does not exist. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
