PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To variously express a subject's motion in images acquired in continuous shooting. SOLUTION: The digital camera 1 comprises an imaging element 9 which takes an image of the subject; a shutter operation part 7 which is operated in continuous shooting; a sensor 13 which detects an operation quantity or operation force of the shutter operation part 7; and a total controller 19 which adjusts the exposing time of the image of the subject taken by the imaging element 9 based on the operation quantity or operation force detected by the sensor 13.
