PURPOSE:To fix a valve element holding tube, fitted to a valve tube to hold a valve element of a control valve, to the valve tube connected to a booster piston, without using an exclusive use retaining part of snap ring or the like, in a negative pressure booster. CONSTITUTION:In a peripheral surface of a valve tube 8, a guide groove 38 and a stop groove 39 are formed to be lined in the peripheral direction, to also offset the stop groove 39 by a distance L in the axial direction rearward from a terminal end 38a of the guide groove 38, and in a valve element holding tube 21, a guide pawl 40 fitted to the guide groove 38 and a stop pawl 41 elastically engaged with the stop groove 39, when this guide pawl 40 is brought into contact with the terminal end 38a of the guide groove 38, are provided. |
