PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wattmeter capable of conducting high-precision computations, using a non-distorted waveform. SOLUTION: This wattmeter is provided with one sensor 2, a plurality of signal regulating parts 3a, 3b, an A/D converter 4, a selection part 5a, and a computing part 5b. The sensor 2 outputs a signal as to the current or the voltage. The plurality of signal regulating parts 3a, 3b has amplification rates different each other, and regulates a signal S output from the one sensor. The A/D converter 4 samples and A/D-converts, respectively the regulated signals SA, SB after being regulated by the plurality of signal regulation parts 3a, 3b. The selection part 5a selects either the signal out of numerical value data SA' or of SB' sampled and A/D-converted by the A/D converter 4.
