PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of reducing a time required for reselecting a selected facility out of searched facilities after starting facility search. SOLUTION: A control circuit 11 displays a facility list on a display monitor 16 when starting the facility search. The facility is added to the facility list when detecting the facility satisfying a search condition. The search of a recommended route up to the facility is started when the facility is selected out of the list by a push operation of a touch panel 19, and the searched route is displayed on the display monitor 16. The search of the facility is interrupted when starting the search of the recommended route. The interrupted search of the facility is started again when the recommended route is canceled to select another facility, and the facility list is displayed on the display monitor 16.
