PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting diode attached to a light-emitting brim cap, not only using it as a visual recognizing device for calling an attention of the presence of a wearer to another person, but also enabling to use it as an illuminating device for the wearer. SOLUTION: By arranging bright spots 13 at a peripheral side surface 25 between the front and rear surfaces of circumferential edge 12 of a brim 11 of the cap having the brim, light-emitting diodes 14 are mounted at the brim 11. An electronic circuit board 15, a battery 16 and a switch 17 for blinking the light-emitting diodes can be attached to the brim 11. The brim 11 is constituted by a transparent plastic material and when the light-emitting diodes 14 are mounted at the positions close to the cap main body 26 by leaving from the circumferential edge 12 of the brim 11, the light of the light-emitting diodes 14 is transmitted through the inside of the transparent plastic brim 11, appears to the whole circumferential edge 12 and illuminates, and further, by installing a recessed part 33 on the transparent plastic brim 11, since the light of the light-emitting diodes 14 is refracted at the recessed part 3 and constitutes a decorating bright spot, the light-emitting cap which is new as a designing point of view, and having a high added value is obtained.
