932,465. Dish-washing machines. HOBART MANUFACTURING CO. Nov. 12, 1959 [Nov. 13, 1958], No. 38422/59. Class 138 (1). When a dish-washing machine is not in use the electric supply leads 99, Fig. 7, for the drive motor 27 of a washing liquid pump are stored in a compartment between the washing tank 20 and the outer cabinet 15, as also are the hoses 70, 71 through which liquid is respectively supplied and drained from the tank 20. The electric lead 99 is passed through a tubular guide 105 and a coiled spring 101 to prevent kinking thereof, and the hoses 70, 71 are looped around a bracket 95 when they are fully withdrawn so that they do not kink. As illustrated in Fig. 7, the machine has separate racks 50, 60, 61, and 62, for plates, cups, and glasses, and a rotary spray arm 26. Means are described for circulating heated air for drying the dishes, and for sealing and latching the lid of the cabinet. Specifications 801,192, 932,466 and U.S.A. Specification 2,707,961 are referred to.
|
