The cover (30) has an assembling slot (132) presenting an axial symmetric axis (A) and interiorly provided with elastically deformable tab (133) that form a fixation unit for fixing the cover on a body i.e. pin, of a flange of a rotating electric machine i.e. alternator, by an indexing mechanism. The tab is connected to the slot by a round portion for forming a hook with the slot, and the tab is inclined with respect to the axis and directed towards outside of the cover. The tab is inclined outside of the cover along an angle ranging between 75 and 45 degree relative to a wall of the slot.
