Apparatus for remotely operated fluid pumping in work spaces, particularly suitable for the cleaning of enclosed space tanks (30, Fig. 1) such as those on marine vessels. The apparatus comprises an arm assembly 20, a nozzle 60 mounted on the arm assembly 20, means for roatating the nozzle, a transverse member 1000 mounted with the tank, a positioning assembly 1001 removably attached to the arm assembly 20 and moveable along the transverse member 1000 and controls for controlling the movement of the nozzle 60. The one or more arm assemblies 20 can each made up of two or more arm sections each and rotary actuators can be disposed between the arm sections to provide up to 360-degree rotation of one arm section with respect to the next. The nozzle 60 may be mounted on a pair of rotary actuators near the end of the arm assembly 20 distal from the mount, with a hose supplying fluid from a supply pump to the nozzle. |
