A velocity controlling apparatus for a lift is provided to control running speed of a lift based on measured load, thereby preventing overload of the motor for the lift. A velocity controlling apparatus for a lift comprises a load measurement unit(100) and a loading limiter(200). The load measurement unit outputs weight signals corresponding to the load of the lift. The load measurement unit measures the load of the lift and outputs a first limit load signal when the measured load coincides with medium load. The load measurement unit outputs a second limit load signal when the measured load of the lift is overweight. The loading limiter is composed of a first falling unit, a second falling unit and a loading limiter controlling unit(210). |
