A method and an apparatus are provided to encode continuation sinusoid signal information, which is indicative of the number of frames having a continuation sinusoid signal, according to frame index information, and a decoding method and apparatus thereof. A sinusoidal signal is extracted from a current frame, by executing a sinusoidal signal analysis on an input audio signal(510). Continuous sinusoidal signal information, which is indicative of a continuation sinusoidal signal of a next frame coupled to the sinusoidal signal of the current frame, is determined by performing a sinusoidal tracking about the extracted sinusoidal signal(530). The determined continuous sinusoidal signal information is encoded using Huffman tables, which are different from each other, based on the index information of the current frame.
