A control device for a robot is provided to manually operate and control a main body and action of an additional mechanism with a manual control device. A control device for a robot comprises a robot body(3), additional mechanisms(8,9,10) including an operating shaft, a manual operation device allowing a user to manually control the robot body and the additional mechanisms, a decision equipment judging whether the additional mechanism and the robot main body is in an activation connection state and a control device(12) controlling working speed of the operating shaft of the additional mechanism and a tip end of the robot body operating shaft within predetermined maximum speed.
