An LCD device is provided to set line width of a supplementary wire at more than 20micrometer out of a range where a TFT substrate and a color filter substrate are overlapped together, thereby preventing disconnection caused by damage to the wire. On a TFT substrate(10), scanning lines(11) arrayed in vertical direction by extending in horizontal direction, data signal lines(12) arrayed in horizontal direction by extending in vertical direction, and terminal units(100) corresponding to the scanning lines are equipped. The terminal units are formed as units on every flexible wiring substrate. The terminal units and the scanning lines are sequentially connected by supplementary wires and connection lines(111), starting from the terminal units. The connection lines are configured as areas covered on a color filter substrate(20).
