A local ventilating apparatus for a plating sink is provided to form wrinkles on an exhaust pipe to prevent the exhaust pipe from contacting a bridge or a plating sink when the exhaust pipe is moved. A local ventilating apparatus for a plating sink(10) comprises the following units. A bridge(12) is moved along a plurality of reactor baths(11). A local ventilating unit(30) collects and exhausts toxic gas generated when a workpiece(20) reacts chemically. The bridge dips the workpiece into a reaction bath. The local ventilating unit is moved with the workpiece. The local ventilating unit is composed of a hood(31) fixed on the bridge and an exhaust pipe(32) exhausting the collected toxic gas.
