A wormhole attack detection method in a USN and a management node apparatus are provided to detect the wormhole attack by a wormhole link which can generating the tapping, omission and change of important data without complicated hardware through a simple software procedure. A management node collects neighboring node connectivity data from FFD sensor nodes within a USN(S100), and then generates an imperfection connection matrix by using the collected neighboring node connectivity data(S102). The management node produces a perfect connection matrix from the imperfection connection matrix by using the symmetrical characteristic(S104), and then searches a close loop in the perfect connection matrix(S106). The management node confirms non-duplicated neighboring links and the number of the links from the closed loop.
