METHOD FOR MAPPING ANTENNAS IN FREQUENCY-TIME DOMAIN FOR TIME SPATIAL DIVERSITY, AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING SIGNALS USING THE SAME

An antenna mapping method in the frequency-time domain for time-space diversity and a signal transmission method using the same are provided to obtain the space-diversity gain in both a frequency domain and a time domain. An antenna index sequence consisting of the indexes of a plurality of antennas is generated. The generated antenna index sequence is mapped to a unit area forming the row and column of the frequency-time domain. At the same time, the antenna index sequence is mapped in different directions in each row or column. An arbitrary signal is mapped to the rest area except for the unit area. The antenna index sequence is grouped between antenna indexes to realize the space-time block code(STBC) or space-frequency block code(STFC).
