Anabaena sensor rhodopsin mutein of which a maximum absorption wavelength is changed is provided to be very applied in case of using only a light of a short wavelength of which energy is strong because a maximum absorption wavelength of absorption light is blue-shifted compared to Anabaena sensor rhodopsin wild type protein. Anabaena sensor rhodopsin mutein substitutes 206th amino acid Pro to Asp or Glu in a first sequence. The Anabaena sensor rhodopsin mutein is encoded by a nucleic acid molecule. The nucleic acid molecule is a second sequence or a third sequence. A vector includes (a) a nucleic acid molecule encoding the Anabaena sensor rhodopsin mutein and (b) a promoter linked operatively to the nucleic acid molecule.
