Catalysts for the preparation of syn gas by alcohols reforming comprising a ZnO support with nanostructured metal catalysts deposited on it, are described. The nanostructured metal catalysts are obtained by treatment, with a reducing agent or hydrogen and/or pyrolysis, of metal complexes formed by salts of Fe, Co and Ni and their alloys and templating polymers.
