A power supply unit is provided to efficiently perform a charging circuit part and a discharging circuit part by using a diode and a resistor without a separate IC. A power supply unit comprises a battery connection part(31), a first diode(33), a second diode(37), a third diode(39), and a resistor(35). A battery for charging is connected to the battery connection part. The first diode is connected between an input voltage terminal(Vi) and the battery connection part. The resistor is connected between the input voltage terminal and the battery connection part. The second diode is connected between the battery connection part and an output voltage terminal(Vo). One terminal of the third diode is connected between the input voltage terminal and the first diode. The other terminal of the third diode is connected to the output voltage terminal. The first to the third diode is a schottky diode. A voltage supplied to the input voltage terminal charges the battery for charging through the first diode and the resistor.
