Use of natural moisturizing factor derived from degradation of filaggrin as a fragile lip protective agent and to prevent or treat e.g. discomfort, tingling feeling and/or pain

Cosmetic use of natural moisturizing factor (I) derived from degradation of filaggrin as a fragile lip protective agent, is claimed. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process for cosmetic treatment of fragile lips comprising the application of the composition on the lips comprising a natural moisturizing factor deriving from the filaggrin degradation; and (2) a composition for application to lip comprising the natural moisturizing factor in a physiologically acceptable medium.
