A plasma display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent the indication error caused by the gas charge and a fluorescent substance in a discharge space. A first barrier and a first fluorescent substance are formed corresponding to a display space(40). A porous(60) for the ventilation of the discharge space and the gas charge is formed at a non-display area(41) of the outside of display area. A second fluorescent substance (50) having the property absorbing the impurity gas is formed at location between the display area and the porous.
