<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bitterness-reducing agent capable of easily and efficiently reducing the bitterness of a food containing plant ground product and/or extract, and to provide a method for reducing such bitterness, and to provide a food utilizing the bitterness-reducing agent. <P>SOLUTION: The bitterness-reducing agent comprises a ground product and/or extract of Camellia sinensis leaves or processed Camellia sinensis leaves. The method for reducing such bitterness utilizing the agent is also provided.
