<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door weatherstrip for an automobile hard to be removed from a door frame and easy to manufacture. <P>SOLUTION: A vertical side part of the door weatherstrip 10 is constituted of a vertical side upper part mounted on the vertical side of the door frame 2 and a vertical side lower part mounted on a lower part of the vertical side of an outer periphery of a door, and the vertical side upper part and the vertical side lower part are connected to each other by a vertical side connecting part. A mounting base part 20 of the vertical side upper part is held by a retainer 3, and the vertical side lower part is held by a grip or a double-side adhesive tape. A core extracted slit is formed on the mounting base part of the vertical side connecting part, the core extracted slit is formed below a connecting end surface on the side of the vertical side upper part, formed up to the neighborhood of the connecting end surface on the side of the vertical side lower part and not adhered.
