<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode wire for a solar cell having excellent plastic deformability relative to a conventional one; its base material; and a manufacturing method of a base material. <P>SOLUTION: This base material of this electrode wire 1 for a solar cell before plating with molten solder plating applied to a surface of the base material 2 is formed of a rolled material of pure copper containing 99.90 mass% of Cu. When peak intensities by X-ray diffraction of crystal orientations <100>, <114> and <112> in the rolling direction are represented by P<100>, P<114> and P<112>, respectively, a peak intensity ratio PR (%) of the crystal orientations of <114> and <112> represented by expression: PR (%) =( P<114>+P<112>)*100/(P<100>+P<114>+P<112>) is set to 50-90%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
