PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server, a key information conversion method, a program, and a system for making it unnecessary to associate an application with any special input key information to be transmitted from a special keyboard. SOLUTION: The storage part of a server stores setting information 221 acquired by associating input key information corresponding to the input part of a client with output key information; and a conversion program for converting the input key information input through the input part of the client to the client into the output key information on the basis of the setting information 221 stored in the storage part of the client. When receiving the request of the setting information 221 from the client, the communication part of the server transmits the setting information 221 acquired from the storage part and the conversion program to the client.
