PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a toner which suppresses bleed-out of a wax component to a surface thereof, hardly causes filming on a photoreceptor and an offset phenomenon in a high-temperature region, excels in image reproducibility, and can form a high-quality image with high definition and high resolution. SOLUTION: The toner is manufactured by a manufacturing method including: a preliminary comminution step S1 of comminuting a melt-kneaded product of toner materials in a liquid to obtain a coarse powder slurry containing toner coarse powder; a pulverization step S2 of further pulverizing the toner coarse powder by passing the coarse powder slurry through a pressure-resistant nozzle under heating and pressurization to obtain a fine powder slurry containing toner fine powder in a heated and pressurized state; a cooling step S3 of cooling the fine powder slurry; and an evacuating step S4 of reducing the pressure of the fine powder slurry.
