A wishlist collection service system and a method thereof for online shopping malls are provided to enable a user of online shopping malls to register and inquire about information on the user's interested products searched from various Internet online shopping malls, on one service site by logging in the service site one time only. When a user extracts product information within the current screen by using a bookmarklet or a pop-up menu of a mouse or by clicking a registration button of a toolbar installed on a web browser for interested products, a transmitter sends the extracted product information to a service web site. A product information analyzer/extractor(110) extracts data by analyzing an internal HTML(Hyper Text Markup Language) source and a URL(Uniform Resource Locator) of the transmitted product information. A database server(180) stores the extracted data. A wishlist inquiry unit(120) provides information on a wishlist generated by listing the interested products from the stored data to the user. |
