PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector retaining the safety in use and simplifying a releasing operation in the connector for attaching/detaching a male engagement body relative to a female engagement body. SOLUTION: In the connector, the female engagement body has an abutment face, a guide face and a locking face; the male engagement body is formed of an operation shaft, a base body and a spring; the operation shaft has a projection part projecting radially, a shaft stepped part for reducing the diameter, and a groove part in the lower part; the base body having a base body stepped part and a through-hole in the longitudinal direction has a long hole in a side face, and an elastic piece; the end of the resilient piece has a locking part formed by projecting from the outer diameter of the base body and being larger than a guide face for fitting the base body, and an abutment part; the operation shaft fitted in the base body with the groove part positioned inside the resilient piece, and having the projection part engaged with the long hole is formed movable against the energizing force of a spring installed in a gap between the shaft stepped part and the base body stepped part; the male engagement body is fitted in the hollow part in the female engagement body; and the locking part of the elastic piece and the locking face are engaged with each other.
