<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional image display device for improving luminance and efficiency and reducing size. <P>SOLUTION: The three-dimensional image display device is provided with a plurality of two-dimensional image forming apparatuses 11 and 14, each of which generates a plurality of two-dimensional images individualy adjusted in luminance and is disposed in the position deviated from the optical path for projecting the two-dimensional image formed by the ther apparatuses, a focus distance adjustment optical element 15 for focusing a plurality of two-dimensional images with different focus distances, an image composition optical element 16 for combining a plurality of two-dimensional images with different focus distances on the same optical path, and a display optical element 19 for projecting a plurality of composite two-dimensional images as a plurality of virtual images having the different focal positions along the user visual line direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
