PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for tires that can suppress the used amount of materials originating from petroleum resources and odors of tires as well as a manufacturing cost of a tire, a base tread formed by using the rubber composition for tires, and a tire. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tires used for forming tires comprises a rubber component comprised of a natural rubber, at least 25 pts.mass and at most 80 pts.mass of silica based on 100 pts.mass of the rubber component and at least 0.2 mass% and at most 0.9 mass% of a natural perfume based on the rubber composition for tires.
