PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt conveyor for preventing the dust from scattering during the operation of the belt conveyor, and preventing the dust dropping to the bottom part of the conveyor and the dust sticking on the surface of a conveying belt to drop from scattering. SOLUTION: The dust collection unit for collecting the dust scattering from the conveying belt 18 stretched between a tail pulley 17 and a head pulley 45 is equipped with a seat belt for collecting the dust, a seal belt winding drum for winding the seal belt without loosening, a dropping powder collection hopper which is installed at a start position and an end position respectively, and can deposit the dust collected by the seal belt, a movable type discharging hopper cart frame which is extended along the length of the conveying belt and has the respective seal belt connected to both ends of the advancing direction, and a movable type discharging hopper which is connected to the bottom surface of the movable type discharging hopper cart frame and moves in conjunction with the movement of the movable type discharging hopper cart frame.
