REDOX FLOW BATTERY SYSTEM HAVING EMERGENCY POWER SOURCE FUNCTION, AND EMERGENCY OPERATION METHOD OF REDOX FLOW BATTERY SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redox flow battery system having an emergency power source function which can secure a sufficient emergency power source capacity without requiring a cost and a space.

SOLUTION: The redox flow battery system having a load equalization function with an external power system and capable of supplying power to an emergency load at the time of emergency is equipped with electrolytic solution supply pumps 12, 13 which can supply a flow-rate of a rated operation flow-rate for load equalization or more at the emergency operation in order to increase the supply flow-rate to the cell 1 further than the rated flow-rate at the time of load equalization operation. By this constitution, it is not necessary to increase the volume of the electrolytic solution for the emergency time and a cost and a space required for that are not necessary.
