PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus capable of suppressing staining of a platen by a simple constitution for a long period of time. SOLUTION: A movable rib 46 is moved to a second position where a second ink absorbing body 47b is brought into contact with the end part 46b of the movable rib 46. When the movable rib 46 is moved to the second position, while the movable rib 46 is moved, ink flowed down along a channel 53b and concentrated at the end part 46b of the movable rib 46 is absorbed by the second ink absorbing body 47b.
