PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile body structure capable of compatibly realizing the no-damage of a front side member in a slight collision and the breaking mode control during the offset collision, and enhancing the degree of versatility of design. SOLUTION: A main stiffener 41 overlaps front side frames 11, 12 extending in the longitudinal direction of an automobile body and is joined therewith. The main stiffener 41 is long along the longitudinal direction of the front side frames, and has a step on a front edge 42 in the longitudinal direction of the automobile body.
