COMPOSITION FORMING SHIELD LAYER AGAINST ULTRAVIOLET RAY AND HEAT RAY, AND USE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for forming transparent layers having excellent shieldability against heat rays and ultraviolet rays and good weatherability, the transparent layer and use thereof. SOLUTION: The composition for forming transparent shielding layers contains indium tin oxide (ITO) powder or zinc oxide (ZnO) powder as a shielding material against ultraviolet rays and heat rays, or antimony tin oxide (ATO) powder together with the ITO powder and the ZnO powder, wherein at least either one of the shielding powders has siliceous coating having absorptivity in a 900-1,200 nm wavelength region, and the powders are dispersed in the presence of a protective agent comprising an organic compound having a phosphate group or a sulfonate group.
