A SWITCHING METHOD FOR AN ISOMERIC NETWORK AND DEVICES THEREOF

A switching method for an isomeric network and devices thereof are provided. The method includes: the current service network of the terminal gets the corresponding relationship information, which is between the point of service and the network point of attachment in the alternate network, the corresponding relationship information is stored in a media independent information server; the current service network of the terminal inquires the resource information of the network point of attachment in the alternate network toward the point of service of the alternate network respectively, according to the corresponding relationship; the current service network of the terminal choices the point of attachment of the aim network according to the inquired resource information, and informs the terminal of switching to the point of attachment of the aim network; or, the inquired resource information is transmitted to the terminal, the terminal choices the point of attachment of the aim network according to the resource information and switches to the point of attachment of the aim network. Using the invention, the network switching can be realized, when the point of service and the point of attachment of network are separated or one point of service corresponds to multiple points of access of the aim network.
