PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having a blow-out opening capable of preventing dew condensation on a ceiling surface and smudging accompanying this with a simple and inexpensive configuration. SOLUTION: An outer wall part 9b of the blow-out port 9 is provided with a throttling channel Y for blowing out a part of blowing air flow from the blow-out port 9 flowing near the outer wall part 9b in a throttled state to a direction approximately in parallel with the ceiling surface 20. The blow-out air flow blown out from the blow-out port 9 side via the throttling channel Y to the direction approximately in parallel with the ceiling surface 20 is liable to remain/stay along the ceiling surface 20 and its proximity, as the air flow has a small flow rate and flows at low speed. The presence of the remaining/staying air suppresses generation of negative pressure in an area near the ceiling surface 20. Accordingly, the blow-out air flow from the blow-out port 9 with a large amount of and high-speed flow rate flows below the remaining/staying air in a state of being prevented by the remaining/staying air without deflecting to the ceiling surface 20 side, which suppresses mixing of indoor air near the ceiling surface 20 as much as possible. As a result, the dew condensation on the ceiling surface 20 and the smudging accompanying this can be effectively prevented, and improvement of commercial value of the air conditioner can be expected.
