PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual plate structure of a transmission for a vehicle capable of precisely regulating a working area of an inhibitor switch in simple structure, having a small number of parts and easy to assemble. SOLUTION: This manual plate structure of the transmission for the vehicle is constituted of and furnished with a container body (casing) to cover an outer peripheral part of the transmission for the vehicle, a manual plate shaft provided through the container body on the container body and revolved by a shift control lever, the inhibitor switch mounted on the manual plate shaft and to detect speed changing operation by the shift control lever and a stopper making contact with a stiffening rib formed on an inner surface of the container body and to engage revolution of the manual plate shaft in the working area of the inhibitor switch.
