PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the lifetime of a head for discharging a liquid droplet. SOLUTION: The liquid discharger comprises a plurality of nozzles for discharging liquid droplets to a medium and for forming dots of a plurality of sizes, and a controller for determining predetermined nozzles which can form a dot of a specified size out of the plurality of nozzles and controls discharge of liquid droplets while altering the predetermined nozzles appropriately.
