A power conversion device is provided to decrease manufacturing cost by reducing the size of an isolating transformer of a power conversion element driving circuit less than 1/2. A power conversion device(200) comprises a main circuit bus(P,COM,N) and a power conversion circuit(101). A power conversion circuit comprises a positive pole side power conversion element(QP), a negative pole side power conversion element(QN), a driving circuit(DRVP,DRVPC,DRVNC,DRVN), a driving power circuit and an isolating transformer(TRP1,TRPC1,TRNC1,TRN1) for controlling power. The positive pole side power conversion element is connected between a cathode bus and an AD output terminal. The negative pole side power conversion element is connected between the AD output terminal and an anode bus. The driving circuit switches the positive pole side power conversion element and the negative pole side power conversion element off by turns. The drive power circuit supplies drive type electric power to the driving circuit through the isolating transformer for the driving circuit.
